ETP-HYLOC Keyless Shaft Bushings

ETP-HYLOC Keyless Shaft Bushing from EPT (Zero-Max) is the perfect solution for secure shaft-to-hub connections. The ETP-HYLOC is fast to mount, has good concentricity, and can take high torque and radial loads.
It’s ideal for positioning and locking shaft components in a high-performance system.

HOW IT WORKS

The ETP-HYLOC keyless locking devices from EPT (Zero-Max) are hydromechanical hub-shaft connections consisting of a double-walled steel sleeve that encloses a conical movable piston. ETP-HYLOC is easily mounted and dismantled using an external hydraulic pump (supplied separately). The pump’s three hoses are connected either radially or axially to accommodate your space constraints. The pressure from the pump moves the piston allowing the double-walled sleeve to uniformly expand against the shaft and hub, forming a consistent and rigid connection. A small amount of oil is extracted via the spiral tracks in the piston between the surfaces, allowing the piston to move quickly and easily (Normal working pressure is 1 000 bar). Reverse pressure moves the internal piston back to its original position, quickly dismantling the ETP-HYLOC and the mounted component.

The ETP-HYLOC has a robust design that is ideal for working in challenging environments and heavy operations like steel rolling mills and process industries. It is designed for high loads and precision and provides the best solution where keyways and tapers can weaken or cause excess wear to shaft couplings.
