The Andco Actuator 7000 Series linear actuator is an entirely self-contained electro-mechanical device designed and constructed for dependable, long-life operation. These actuators are optimal for positioning, automation of material handling, or flow control equipment.

7000 Series Actuator

How It Works

The 7000 Series actuator is driven by a high-starting torque, low-inertia motor connected to a drive screw through a set of gears; as the motor rotates the drive screw, the mating nut and attached extension rod move axially.

Suppose the movement of the extension rod is prevented in either direction at any point in actuator travel due to an external mechanical overload. In that case, a thrust switch will interrupt the motor's power. The gear-driven position limit switch interrupts the motor's power upon stroke completion.

The Dependable Andco EAGLE

The Andco Eagle Linear Actuator is an entirely self-contained electro-mechanical device. Its compact design is equivalent in size to hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders. These actuators are driven by a high-starting torque motor with thermal overload protection, a non-rotating extension rod, a non-back driving acme screw, and all metal gearing.
